You are encouraged to personalize your room as much as you prefer to make it as comfortable as you wish. The rooms are furnished with a bed, dresser, wardrobe, nightstand, and chair. You may bring in your own furniture as the size of the room permits with the exception of a bed.

If you wish, you may have a television and telephone in your room. Telephone service is billed directly to the resident, however cable service is included.

The Beatrice Mae gift shop is open daily for your shopping convenience. Item such as cards, candy, and jewelry are available for purchase.

Laundry services provided at Schuyler Ridge include all bed and bath linen as well as personal laundry.

All clothing should be machine washable. All clothing will be permanently labeled by Schuyler Ridge with the resident's name. We recommend that you have at least seven days worth of clothing, undergarments and sleep wear.

Your pets are allowed to visit in the facility. Pets should be on a leash. Also, because of the therapeutic benefit that pets bring, the Activities Department schedules visits from local animal groups.

Schuyler Ridge has three primary care physicians, one being our medical director. Your primary care physician is responsible for your medical care and is required by Federal and State regulations to see you on a regular basis. The medical director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of care at Schuyler Ridge. 

Consultants such as dentistry, podiatry, ophthalmology and other specialties are available and will be coordinated by the facility.

We have a very active spiritual care program. Services for various denominations are offered weekly.

Schuyler Ridge recognizes that this is a home for our residents and we acknowledge the importance of maintaining strong ties with family and friends. We encourage their involvement and welcome their visits twenty-four hours a day.

A wide range of activities is provided to residents seven days per week. Some of the programs offered include exercise, beauty time, arts and crafts card club and many more. Parties are held for special occasions including a weekly Happy Hour.

There are several outside courtyards for the enjoyment of our residents and their families.
